What's the difference between day trading Emini Futures and Forex?
We trade and teach trading of both.
- Forex doesn't have a conventional "Last price" like the e-mini futures. Just Bid and Ask. You always buy at the ask and sell at the bid.
- Forex is traded at various banks around the world whereas emini's are traded only at their single exchange.
- Forex is much more tradable during the early morning hours with good action starting around 7 a.m. Eastern. The E-mini's volume ramps up at 9:30 a.m. Eastern.
