Monitors

The most popular monitor setup for a desktop computer is a pair of 22" flat panel monitors (1680 X 1050 native resolution, also known as WSXGA+) with DVI (digital) inputs. These have dramatically come down in price and typically cost less than $300 each. Call Paul at 770-382-9656 if you have any questions about monitors.

For reference purposes, here's a list of common display resolutions and their graphic abbreviations.

Note that the Trader/Gamer Xtreme computer comes with a pair of 24" wide screen flat panels (1920 X 1200 native resolution each), but computers #1, #2, #3, & #4 come without monitors.

If you want to add an external monitor to the laptop above, buy a 22" flat panel that has 1680 X 1050 (WSXGA+) or higher native resolution and use a DVI cable.

Note: We strongly recommend Windows XP over Windows Vista.
